Police in central Massachusetts are investigating the death of a man whose body was found outside Auburn High School.
The Auburn Police Department said Auburn firefighters responded to 99 Auburn St., the address for the high school, at about 6:35 a.m. Sunday for a report of an unresponsive man who was found on a driveway.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene and the area around the school was closed until 10:30 a.m., at which time the property was reopened, according to Auburn police.
Police said there appears to be no risk to the public.
The unattended death is being investigated by Auburn police detectives and state police detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
A representative of the district attorney’s office informed NewsCenter 5 that no new information about the case will be released at this time.
